Hope Garden Ceremony at Emerson Hospital

SAVE THESE DATES: In April, when the tulips bloom, people will be revisiting the Hope Garden that was planted last fall at Emerson Hospital with the help of Emerson staff and clients from the behavioral health inpatient unit. There are two time slots on hold for the event. Depending on the bloom time of the tulips and the weather, it will take place either April 13 at 2 pm or April 25 at 1:30 pm. For those who are interested in coming for this brief ceremony, please send Lori an email (lori.krinsky@gmail.com) and she will keep you posted on the firm plans. It would be lovely to have many NAMI members present! The beautiful sign that will be at the gardens is below. This is a tangible and beautiful statement against stigma that still, unfortunately, surrounds mental health challenges.
