2024 “Stand Up to Stigma” Scarecrow Contest Winners!

Thanks to the individuals, families, and organizations who gave their best energy to creating stupendous scarecrows and jack o’ lanterns! Thanks to the folks who stopped by the farmstand to see the display and donate to our cause! Let’s keep all those good vibes flowing and remember to talk about mental health so we can foster a safe environment where all who might need support feel comfortable asking for it.

Participating organizations included: Acton Police Dept., League of Women Voters, Lion’s Club, Point After Club, Acton Women’s Club, Emerson Health Auxiliary, Opportunities from Edinburg, Concord Animal Hospital, Elm Brook Place, Acton Fire Department, DBSA, Fowler School Maynard, Household Goods, Active Minds (ABRHS), Acton Select Board, Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids, Household Goods, Potter Place, Roux, St. Matthew’s Church, Acton-Boxborough United Way, Company 2 Heroes, Concord Park Senior Living, and the Motherfungus Band. Hooray!

Scarecrow Contest Winners

As determined by $1 donation votes cast by the public. . . First place goes to “Otis” by the Fowler Middle School in Maynard. He represents the Maynard police Comfort Dog named Otis. Second place is “Vote” by Acton Area League of Women Voters, and third plane goes to “Jack Skellington & Zero” by the Murphy Family.
