Graduation Time for Basics Teachers

We just graduated a training class of new teachers for NAMI’s Basics course. All three leaders of the training course are members of our affiliate. Sharon Kautz, on the left in her purple Central Middlesex NAMI Walks shirt, Diane DeLaney in a blue shirt peaking out from the back row to the right of Sharon, and Dee Febba, a dedicated champion of the Basics program, on the right side in her matching purple NAMI shirt.

This will significantly ramp up our ability to offer this weekly six session class which is designed for parents/caregivers of children and adolescents showing signs of behavioral and emotional challenges. As is the NAMI way, all the training course graduates have personal experience parenting children with mental health conditions.
