Family-to-Family Leader Training January 2023

The next NAMI Mass Family-to-Family leader (teacher) training is scheduled for Saturday January 21, 8:45 am - 6 pm and Sunday January 22, noon - 5 pm. It will be offered online. This is a 1 1/2 day training. Also, the completion of an independent 2-hour online pre-training section is required.

There are still a few seats available. This is a wonderful opportunity for any potential candidate from the affiliate to become a trained leader. To be a successful leader (teacher), you will learn to respond to others in a non-judgmental way, be a very good listener with an empathetic ear, and talk about your experience as a family member of someone living with a mental illness. Have you had the opportunity to take a F2F class? Think about why you might want to teach a F2F class. How has that experience changed your life?

Are you interested in becoming a Family-to-Family leader? Contact Lori Krinsky at namicmsx@gmail.com or Ilya Cherkasov at (617) 286-7607 or icherkasov@namimass.org.
