Lace Up for NAMI Walks! Three Reasons to be part of the Action

  1. Have Fun

This is always an exhilarating day for all, and the new Boston Common location ramps up the energy and options for interaction. There will be music, food vendors, a Fun Zone with games, inspirational speeches, canopy tables from other mental health support organizations, and a one mile walk around the beautiful park with members of our empathetic and enthusiastic NAMI community.

2. Make a Statement

By being present at the event, we make a statement to the public and our legislators that mental health matters. The larger the crowd, the stronger the message.

3. Raise Funds

The Walk revenue is a substantial part of the budget for both NAMI Massachusetts and NAMI Central Middlesex. Fundraising may not be the easiest endeavor for some, but once the courage to ask is summoned, the results are often pleasantly surprising. Please help us maintain our volunteer based community education and outreach.

This is the layout for the NAMI Walks activity sections at the Parkman Bandstand in the Boston Common. We have a lot more space in the exciting new location!
