“Bear”: An Animated Short Film About Mental Health

Allow yourself to take just eight and a half minutes from your day to view this wonderful animated short film by Celia Tewey. “Bear” tells the story of a young girl and her struggle with depression, represented by a large bear. The film aims to be a metaphorical representation of mental illness, specifically depression, and the silent struggle it can cause for a young person.

NAMI Boulder County served as a partner on the project. If you have the opportunity, share it with a young person.
